Tents of Hope Continues

Wesley will return to the steps of Sproul Hall to engage students in fundraising, advocacy, collaboration and to invite them to our Monday night bible study using The Not On Our Watch Christian Companion. The Companion bible study expands on the New York Times bestseller Not on Our Watch: The Mission to End Genocide in Darfur and Beyond by actor Don Cheadle (Hotel Rwanda) and Africa expert John Prendergast, co-founder of the Enough Project.

The study guide we are using, Not On Our Watch Christian Companion: Biblical Reflections to End Genocide in Darfur and Beyond ( Leffel and Mefford ) provides biblical reflections on the movement to end genocide in Darfur.  Each chapter constitutes a weekly study with a biblical passage for reflection and discussion, a lesson applying the passage to Darfur, action steps, and stories by refugees, activists and Christians who have awakened to the problem of genocide and then decided to take part in the Darfur movement.
